THE KADILAK HOME | OUR MODERN FARMHOUSE MUDROOM DESIGN AND SEAFOAM GREEN BATHROOM

We’ve been building our dream home from the ground up, and we’re excited to finally reveal this modern farmhouse mudroom design and bathroom on the first floor. We custom built tons of storage in this room including a mudroom bench with cubbies, a tall storage closet, and lots of hooks for coats. We chose a black mesh for the storage cabinets to create a breathable space that also hides the mess. This mudroom is all white with gray and black accents, giving it a sleek and modern feel. We also chose some traditional accents and stained oak to bring some warmth into the room.

We are so obsessed with the tile flooring we chose in the mudroom. This is the “Mini Star & Cross” tile from @FireclayTile in the colors “Shale” and “Halite” with matte finishes.

We’re also so lucky to work with @AriaVent, now known as Fittes vents, that creates a modern and sleek look for your air vents that you can actually install your flooring into for a seamless look.

Our first floor bathroom has a very light and airy look. We chose mainly white in this bathroom, but went for a gorgeous seafoam green square tile behind glass shower doors that give the entire bathroom an eye-catching pop of color.
